Karate kid

Zach started Karate on Monday and got to break a board and earn his white belt on Thursday. Now starting next week we have 2-3 classes a week. It is so fun to see him so focused on something! Great job Zach!

Katelynn's 2nd cast

A week after breaking her elbow, they cut the cast off to do more x-rays and determine the extent of the break. Cutting off the first side of the cast went smoothly (we got to watch another kids get a cast cut off the week before) then on the back side the lady nicked her arm with the blade and she flipped out. Not looking forward to going back and having the new cast cut off on Feb. 17th. They determined there is a definite break, but it is lined up perfectly so it should heal nicely! We decided to do the pink cast with purple hearts this time!
